Artificial intelligence use & EU AI Act transparency

How we use artificial intelligence

Some texts and images on fitoalimurgia.net are created or edited with the assistance of artificial intelligence systems (large language models and image generators). AI helps us research, draft, translate and illustrate content more quickly.

AI is a production tool. It does not replace the responsibility for what is published.

📝 Editorial review and responsibility

Content published on this site is subject to human review and editorial control before publication. A natural person (the publisher) holds editorial responsibility for the final content.

Where content concerns safety, identification of edible versus poisonous species, or health and nutrition, we apply extra care and cross-check against authoritative sources.

🇪🇺 EU AI Act — Article 50 transparency

This page responds to the transparency obligations of Article 50 of the EU AI Act (Regulation (EU) 2024/1689), applicable from 2 August 2026.

  • Art. 50(4) — text: AI-generated or AI-manipulated text published on matters of public interest is disclosed. Where content has undergone human review and editorial control and a person holds editorial responsibility, disclosure is limited accordingly.
  • Art. 50(2) — synthetic media: provider-side machine-readable marking of AI-generated images/audio/video is handled at the generation-model level; deployer-side disclosure is provided where required.
  • Art. 50(1) — interaction: this site does not operate an interactive AI agent or chatbot.

🖼️ AI-generated images

Some illustrations are generated by AI image models and are used for illustrative purposes only. They are not photographs and must not be used as a visual identification reference for edible or poisonous plants. For identification, always rely on verified botanical sources and expert guidance.
